End User Terms — Crisp Diagrams for Confluence
Last updated: 22 September 2026
These terms govern your use of the Crisp Diagrams for Confluence app (“the App”), supplied through the Atlassian Marketplace.
Not legal advice. This is a plain-language document, not a lawyer-drafted agreement. The App is now sold through the Atlassian Marketplace, so a review by a qualified lawyer is worth doing — particularly before selling to enterprise customers with procurement review.
1. Licence
You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App within your own Atlassian Cloud sites, for as long as you comply with these terms.
You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the App, or present it as your own product.
2. What the App does
The App renders Mermaid diagram source into SVG inside your Confluence pages. All rendering runs in your browser. Diagram source is stored in the Confluence macro configuration on your own page.
3. What the App does not do
The App does not transmit your content to the developer or to any third party. It makes no external network requests, uses no analytics, and requires no account. See the Privacy Policy.
4. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the content of the diagrams you create, for ensuring you have the right to use that content, and for complying with your own organisation’s policies. You must not use the App to store or display unlawful content.
5. Availability and changes
The App is provided through the Atlassian Marketplace and depends on Atlassian’s Forge platform. Availability is therefore subject to Atlassian’s own uptime and platform decisions.
Features may be added, changed or removed. If a change would materially reduce what the App does, reasonable notice will be given via the Marketplace listing.
6. Pricing and billing
The App is supplied free of charge to Atlassian Cloud sites of 10 users or fewer. Above that it is a paid subscription, preceded by a free trial.
Atlassian is the merchant of record. Billing, trials, renewals, tax and refunds are handled by Atlassian under the Atlassian Marketplace Terms of Use, not by the developer. Current prices are shown on the App’s Marketplace listing.
Rendering is not licence-gated. If a subscription lapses, diagrams already on your pages continue to render, zoom and export. A current licence is required to create or edit a diagram.
7. Warranty disclaimer
The App is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
The developer does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that rendered diagrams will be free of visual or layout defects.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer’s total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the App is limited to the total fees you paid for the App through the Atlassian Marketplace in the twelve months before the claim arose. Where the App was supplied free of charge, that amount is zero.
The developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue or business, however caused.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Support
Support is provided through the support channel listed on the Marketplace listing. The response targets that are actually committed to — first response, diagnosis, and security fixes — are published at Support. They apply to free and paid sites alike.
10. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Your diagram source remains in your Confluence pages as macro configuration; uninstalling the App means those macros will no longer render.
The developer may terminate this licence if you breach these terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
12. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. The “last updated” date above will change, and material changes will be noted on the Marketplace listing. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
13. Contact
Via the support channel listed on the App’s Atlassian Marketplace listing.
